He earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
“As a firm we continue our expansion of expertise in the mobility space and are excited to have Sherwin join the firm as a Strategic Advisor. We have a long history of working with Sherwin through his past role as head of GM Ventures and a Co-Investor with us on several portfolio companies including the very successful investment and exit in our investment in USHR. Sherwin’s knowledge and expertise in the mobility sector will provide us with significant insight and deal flow opportunities from his extensive network,” said Wally Hunter, Managing Director, EnerTech Capital.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Sherwin, as co-investors (and friends), for the past decade. I can’t speak highly enough of him and the value I know he will bring to EnerTech’s investment and portfolio management discussions. He has an extensive experience as an investor and brings valuable insights as to how established industry incumbents view, evaluate, and embrace (or not) innovation from early-stage companies. These insights will not only be important to our mobility portfolio companies, but also to corporate strategic partners,” said Scott Ungerer, Founder and Managing Director, EnerTech Capital.
“I feel privileged to have the chance to work with the team of mobility investment experts at EnerTech Capital. I have known the team for over 10 years and we have done several co-investments together, including our recent very successful exit from autonomous vehicle mapping company USHR. I look forward to providing my investment and industry insights and knowledge in the mobility space as EnerTech expands their strategy,” said Sherwin Prior, Vice President of Lear Innovation Ventures.
