May 17, 2023, Toronto, ON and Philadelphia, PA – EnerTech Capital is pleased to announce today, that Christopher Thibodeau has joined our Mobility Advisory Board as we continue to enhance and expand our focus on the mobility space. Chris has a strong background in product development operation, manufacturing orientation, business strategy formation, and product strategy development. His experience with energy management, connectivity, and autonomous driving technologies will be extremely valuable to EnerTech as we continue our efforts to accelerate the mobility transition. Chris joins the board alongside other key mobility experts, including recent appointments, Todd Janke (Adient), Matt Horton (Voltera), Yibo Cai (Pilot Flying J), Jody Howard (Caterpillar), Deepak Garg (Smart Energy Water), Mark Stoddart (Linamar), and John Matovich (Alectra).

Chris is currently the President & CEO of Ushr, Inc. Chris graduated from Lawrence Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Manufacturing Concentration and later earned a Master’s in Engineering Management from Wayne State University.

“I’ve worked with Chris for several years. He has extensive experience directly relevant to the fund’s investment mandate, specifically his intimate understanding of the breadth of technologies required to support autonomous driving (and their related applications), the automotive industry approach to innovation originating from outside their own supply chain, the experience of executing a major transaction, and operating under Asian ownership. These are all valuable to the Fund and its portfolio companies,” said Scott Ungerer, Founder and Managing Partner, EnerTech Capital.

“We are excited to have Chris join our advisory board. His deep sector expertise in the autonomous driving space will be extremely valuable to the firm as we build out our investment portfolio in the mobility space. Chris was one of the key management team members that helped lead to our successful exit from USHR in our previous fund and we look forward to working with him again in his role on our advisory board,” said Wally Hunter, Managing Partner, EnerTech Capital.

“I am honored and excited to join EnerTech in the role of Mobility Advisor. The paradigm shift in the areas mobility and energy continue to substantiate the need for technology solutions so we may all benefit from these exciting developments,” said Christopher Thibodeau.
