November 5, 2024, TORONTO and PHILADELPHIA - Nick Allen has joined the EnerTech Arcadia Debt Fund Advisory Board. Nick is an experienced executive who has extensive global operational experience in the energy industry. His experience in the green molecule space will prove to be an invaluable resource for EnerTech.
Nick recently served as VP Global LNG at ConocoPhillips where he oversaw the growth of a rapidly expanding portfolio of liquefaction, regasification, and transport positions. In 2017 he relocated to Houston from London as General Manager of Global Crude Oil and NGL at ConocoPhillips. His team managed sales and trading of the company’s liquids production which, at a yearly peak, exceeded $40B and accounted for around 80% of total revenues for the company.
Nick brings over 28 years of energy company experience. He started in oil broking and trading with J. P. Morgan and ED & F Man on the International Petroleum Exchange. Moving to Conoco in 1997 as a risk analyst he progressed to physical gasoline trading, managing their European gasoline trading book before taking a position as trading director for Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Nick returned to ConocoPhillips in 2006 to manage the European natural gas, power & carbon trading desk.

In 2012, Nick became manager of Europe Commercial, with responsibility for the marketing, trading, and commercial development of ConocoPhillips’ equity crude oil, NGL, and natural gas production in Europe and Africa.
Nick is also a successful entrepreneur and seed investor, having backed an innovative packaging company that sold to HP in 2022. He continues to be an early-stage investor and advisor providing founders with insight and guidance on commercialization, access to private financing and assisting with scaling and exit strategies.
