October 22, 2024, Toronto, ON and Philadelphia, PA – Terrence (Terry) Bishop, has joined EnerTech’s growing team of Executives in Residence (EIR). Terry is an experienced entrepreneur who has created and led several high-growth technology companies that participate in the Automotive, IoT, Medical, Consumer and Industrial markets. His experience growing start-ups and leading them to successful exits will prove to be an invaluable resource to EnerTech’s portfolio CEOs.
With passion for the advanced in-vehicle electronics industry, Terry founded Trilogy in 1990 as a manufacturer’s representative firm. Terry’s vision has evolved Trilogy into one of the largest most respected sales, service, and consulting organizations in the electronics industry. Representing technology leaders such as Sharp, Vishay, Ublox, Western Digital, Mediatek, Fujitsu and Taoglas. They specialize in applications such as advanced HMI displays, the latest in wireless technology (Cellular, Wi-Fi, BLE, and GPS/GNSS) as well various other semiconductor technologies (SoC, Memory, Sensors).

Terry was the founder and President of BGM Electronic Services, providing engineering and manufacturing technology solutions for the automotive, consumer, industrial, and medical markets. BGM Electronic Services was acquired by the Berkshire Hathaway TTI family of companies in 2022.
Terry also founded Trilogy Electronics; an electronic manufacturing services company acquired by Jabil in 2007. He’s an alum of Western Michigan University and Harvard Business School Executive Education Program. Terry also serves on many charity boards such as Winning Futures, VTOT (Veterans Tributie of Oakland Twp) and the Celani Foundation.
