Robert S. Aiken, VP Federal Affairs at Pinnacle West, Joins EnerTech Arcadia Debt Fund Advisory Board

August 7, 2024, Toronto, ON and Phoenix, AZ – Robert S. Aiken (Robbie), Vice President, Federal Affairs at Pinnacle West Capital Corporation, has joined the EnerTech Arcadia Debt Fund Advisory Board. Robbie brings unparalleled insight into government energy transformation policy and is an important addition to the EnerTech investment platform.

 

Robbie has been employed by Pinnacle West Capital Corporation since November 1986 as the head of the Washington, DC office. In July of 1999, he was elected by the Board of Directors as Vice President, Federal Affairs. Pinnacle West is the parent company to Arizona Public Service Company, Arizona’s largest electric utility. Robbie serves as the chief lobbyist for the Company dealing extensively with Members of Congress, their staff, and officials at various executive agencies including the Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of the Interior, and the White House. Robbie is also the lead representative for Pinnacle West to the various Washington, DC based energy industry and business trade associations.

Prior to joining Pinnacle West, Robbie was appointed to various positions in the Reagan Administration. He served as the Principal Senate Liaison and Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy, Manager of Legislative Affairs at the Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. Department of the Interior, and as a Special Assistant in the Small Business Administration. Robbie has volunteered as a senior lead advance representative for the White House and in several presidential campaigns for over four decades.
