Gaston is a senior finance executive with over 30 years of diverse industry experience in multiple global public companies. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Shawcor Limited (now Mattr), a global materials technology company broadly serving critical infrastructure markets, including transportation, water management, energy and electrification. While there, he led finance operations and played a crucial role in restructuring efforts and successful M&A transactions. Prior to Shawcor, he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Spin Master Limited and CCL Industries Inc. and held various leadership positions at Bacardi Limited.

Gaston is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Illinois). He also holds an Institute of Corporate Directors designation (ICD.D) from the Rotman School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.
